Barriers began as kind of a Where's Waldo study of the ways we find to keep others at bay.  How many can you find?  Hint:  it's not about what the signs say.  The signs are meant to be fanciful, largely illegible because what the sign says doesn't matter if I am using it to push others away.  Once I'm aware of what my sign is really doing its time to put it down and attempt the conversation.  Awareness, conversation, relationship, community, and ultimately healing.

BTW the sign in front is a quote from Henri Nouwen:  "Community is where humility and glory touch."  Enjoy:)
