Crossroad is primarily about a hug between a police officer and a protester. It is also about choices and the consequences of those choices. It is about people, communication, fear, and the new normal. It is the most chaotic piece that I have completed, but that's kinda the point.

In 2020, Crossroad was accepted into two national and international art exhibitions:  'Art in the Time of Corona', hosted by DabArt, Los Angeles, CA; and 'Race in America', a national juried exhibition hosted by Drury University, Springfield, MO.

So far in 2021, Crossroad has been accepted into 'Elevate', a national invitational exhibition hosted by Webster Arts, Webster Grove, MO.  Crossroad was given Best of Show by the juror, Cbabi Bayoc.  The virtual opening reception is available on YouTube.  Both the juror and I talk about the painting, and there are questions and comments from the patrons of Webster Arts.

In September, 2021, Crossroad was selected Best of Show in 'Create', a regional exhibition hosted by the Art Center Manatee, Bradenton, FL.  The award ceremony is on YouTube here

The painting is on display at and offered by Dabbert Gallery, 46 S Palm Ave., Sarasota, FL, 34236.  (941) 955-1315
