Ironies, Oil on linen, 18 by 24 inches unframed, 22 by 28 inches framed.
I gave this work a title before I actually knew what irony is. Irony is saying one thing to mean just the opposite. So having a third world laborer checking his cell phone is not an irony, its curious. There is an irony in the painting however; and it has to do with the huge ficus tree standing defiantly in a country that has almost destroyed all of its forests.
Offered as an original oil, nicely framed. Prints available on request.
